Characterisation of the red gurnard fisheries in GUR 2

Trophia was contracted by the New Zealand Ministry of Fisheries (MFish) to characterise the red gurnard ( Chelidonichthys kumu ) fishery in GUR 2 and those of associated species taken by the Area 2 inshore trawl fishery by analysis of existing commercial catch and effort data and data from other sources; and make recommendations on appropriate methods to monitor or assess the status of individual Fishstocks or groups of species combined
